I submitted this piece into the contest "Laberintos de amor y erotismo" (Laberinths of love and erotism). It was selected and shown in the Casona Nemesio Antúnez Gallery, Santiago, Chile.

"Locus amoenus" refers to a literary trope, meaning "the good place". In many literary works there´s a beautiful and quiet place were the characters meet and interact with each other. It´s usually in the woods near a pond or a small river. This place can be used for thinking or debating philosophical issues (like the works of Plato). It can also be the stage for love encounters or love related stories. Bocaccio´s "Decamerón" comes to mind.
